| Recommendations | The Plike surface is extremely delicate so it is necessary to avoid finger/nail or metallic strach during operations/handling We can suggest to use some protective lack but please don't forget you may lose the plastic soft touch surface. The cover may be applied without staples (bookbinding glue) Plike must be stored in a dry area since it is sensitive to humidity Open wrappers and pallets must be rewrapped securely Prior to printing, the sheets must be fanned to ensure separation As Plike requires slightly longer drying times, it is advisable not to create large piles (no more than 20cm) and to allow it to dry properly before proceeding to the next process Plike should be printed using top quality oxidising inks adding 3% vegetable oil-based inks Screen: 60/70 lines (150/175 dpi) Tests have shown that specific oxidised inks for coated matt paper, and UV oxidised inks, have given the best performance in terms of scratch resistance and printing. Avoid large areas of ink as this negates the unique feel of the paper |
